Explanation of our installation types:
You can choose to download our products either as the standard Windows execuatable installation
program by itself, or, if you wish, packaged inside a zip file to further reduce its size and to allow downloading if your connection prevents you from downloading exe files.
Either method provides the same installation, but if you choose the zip format, you must
extract the installation executable from the zip file before installation.
Our installations do not
modify your system in any way and each includes a Windows
compliant uninstall function which can be executed from the
Windows Control Panel Install/Uninstall function.
The Help File installations are supplied in a compact
simple self-extracting zip archive. When you execute it, you
can choose the directory for the installation. It comes preset to
install Qivx software into the "Program Files" directory on your
C drive. For most systems, this is correct, but unlike the
normal program installation system, it doesn't know what to do if your system is
different.
To all current registered users: If you have not updated your registration in the last year, your existing registration codes may not work with these new
releases due to an important change in the registration system. However, these new versions are
all FREE upgrades for all existing users. You should have received notification of this change and instructions
on how to obtain your new codes. If your registration does not work with these new versions, please use the support
form (Click on Support in the menu above) and let us know. We will be glad to update you to the new registration codes.
