PQD format

The standard PQD format file allows data to be accurately placed in the Calibrators and Control samples source data tables. In addition, the PQD format can include a "Run ID" that is independent of the file name, a "Run date" independent of the file date and a comment section in which the technician can enter notes or other textual information which will be stored with the processed data. PQD data is processed correctly regardless of the file extension or even if the data is imported via the clipboard.

The PQD file format permits explicit assignment of values to the Run ID, Date, Comments, Calibration data set and Control sample data set.

The file structure is best understood by example.
