| To input a value into the data set, click on a cell. ProQuant enforces some simple rules for entering data into the tables. Columns must be entered from left to right and rows from top to bottom. Therefore, if you click a cell that violates those rules, ProQuant will move the cell selection to a cell that follows the rules.

| If the cell selected is in a column with data, or in the column next right of the rightmost populated column, the selection will be placed in the first empty row. If you have skipped a column, the selection will be placed in the top row of the empty column to the right of the entered data.

| With a cell selected, begin entering data from the keyboard. Advance to the next cell with the arrow key or by clicking the mouse pointer in the desired cell.

| As you move the selection in the input table, the Column and Row indicator field display the current selection. The Column field displays the value at the top of the selected column and the Row field displays the value label at left of the current row.
