The date field displays the date stored in the archive (PDA) file, or the date following the <date> symbol in a structured data (PQD) file. Or if neither of those are read, the current date.

To change the Date value for a data set, click the [Edit] button to the far right of the header area. Click the drop-down arrow in the Date field and select a new date from the calendar. The selected date will be placed in the Date field. Click [Set] to accept the changes.
