| On each page of ProQuant, anywhere data are presented, you will see a small recessed button in the upper-left of each data section. The button will be labeled with either a C or an R. These buttons have several functions.

| The clipped data are preceded by the current analysis Run ID and Date
|
|
|
| To clip the associated data to the windows clipboard, click on the button for the data section. A formatted report of the data is created and placed on the Windows clipboard. You can then paste the formatted data into any other application.

| To clip the data and paste it into the ProQuant report text area in a single operation, right click the button. the formatted data is immediately pasted into the ProQuant RTF editor window at the current cursor position.

|
| If a Report has been created, the single character label on the clip button for each item that is included in the current report is changed from C to R.
